The universe just plopped a huge blessing in our laps thanks to 2 very close friends of ours. We are moving to a 4 bedroom house farmhouse for less than what we have been paying on our current home. This house is amazing. There are 3 kitchens, including a canning kitchen, 2 chest freezers, 4 refrigerators, a true convection oven with middle grill, weight bench workout center in the basement, a huge walk in closet in the master, 2.5 baths, a clawfoot tub, 4 car garage, 2 offices, 2 fire pit/ entertainment areas, a separate outbuilding with a tractor, riding lawnmower, a meat smoker and outside grill. It has a man cave equipped with a full set of craftsman tools, metal and woodworking tools. It even has a wooden playset in the yard and is only blocks away from the public pool and public parks.
And all of this is on 7.5 acres of land! It also has access to broadband internet because it's on the edge of the city limits
The owner has a separate apartment on the property but is only there 2 months out of the year.
It's in a small private college town that is only minutes away from 2 large cities in my state. I never thought this opportunity would happen for us, but I am grateful for it. The last 3.5 years have been the toughest in my entire life, and this is just amazing me every time I think about it.
